For those customers who will be ordering a wires-only or DIY ADSL connection these routers provide a far superior means of connection to single-user devices. Having configured the device via the built-in web interface, the ADSL connection is then shared across the user's network via an existing standalone switch, hub or via the built-in 4-port hub on the second 510 model.
Once configured, the device should need no further user input.
These routers also provide an excellent replacement for the Alcatel Speedtouch USB, as provied by BT Openworld and other ISP's (subject to terms and conditions)
Users of these devices should ensure that their ADSL ISP agreement allows them to share their connection between more than one computer.
